Ramadan 14 1447AH/2026

1) Mention one man that was younger than his son at some point?  add pro0f?

2) What's an excuse people used in the Qur'an not to believe in a Prophet? We are meant to believe in what we don't see. What's it that we don't see today that we believe it but the sahabas saw it

Prophet Uzayr (AS) – younger than his son after Allah revived him (Qur’an 2:259).
People rejected prophets because:
They were human.
They followed their forefathers blindly.
We believe in miracles like:
The splitting of the moon,
Angels,
Revelation — even though we did not see them.

Question 1.

Prophet Adam (AS).

When Allah created Prophet Adam, He created him as a full-grown man (not a baby). Later, his children were born as babies.
So at the time his son was born as an infant, Adam (AS) was physically older and fully grown, while his son was younger. In that moment, Adam had once been “younger” than his son in terms of life stage (since his son started from infancy while Adam was created mature).
Proof:
Allah says in the Qur’an:
“Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allah is like that of Adam. He created him from dust; then He said to him, ‘Be,’ and he was.”
(Qur’an 3:59)
This shows Adam was created directly and fully formed.

*Question 1.*

*QUESTION 2*

One common excuse was:
“We will not believe until we see a clear sign or see Allah.”

For example, some people said they would not believe unless they saw Allah openly.

Allah says:
“Those who do not know say, ‘Why does Allah not speak to us or there come to us a sign?’”
(Qur’an 2:118)

Another excuse:

They said, “This is just a human like us.”
When Prophet Muhammad was sent, they said:

“What is this Messenger who eats food and walks in the markets?”
(Qur’an 25:7)

They refused to believe because he was human.
What is it that we do not see today but believe in, while the Sahabah saw it?

The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) himself.
The companions (Sahabah) saw him physically, spoke to him, and witnessed revelation happening.

Today, we believe in him, his message, Jannah, Jahannam, angels, and the unseen — even though we do not see them.

Allah praises this kind of faith:
“Who believe in the unseen…”
(Qur’an 2:3)
