1) Do we have fixed nawafil(Rakah) for the first night of Ramadan (Nafila Oru)? How many Rakah?
2) At least one of 2 things must happen before we conclude that we are in the month of Ramadan, mention the 2? A complete Islamic/Hijri month is ___or ___ days?

(1) Yes 10 Rakat 5 salama
(2) The crescent moon must be sighted and Taraweeh must be pray
Complete hijri month is 30 or 29 days
1) We do not have fixed nawafil. It is at our own discretion. However, performing nawafil in the midnight is always in twos
2) The moon crescent been sighted on the night of 29th of Shaaban.
If the moon crescent isn't sighted, then Shaaban will be completed as 30 days before the commencement of Ramadan
