THE PRACTICAL OF MODERN ISLAMIC LIFE FAR FROM WHAT WE CAN IMAGINE

Just like a new baby that knows nothing about its world, the present Muslims have never experienced what we call Islamic life and how it looks like. Is not what they have practiced or tasted before, so no one can say or describes its nature and that is why its pathway is difficult to explain but many are struggling to live according to Islam in a society that doesn’t welcome Islam.
One thing must be known, being a Doctor of Dawah or Professor of Arabic does not mean one is qualify to lead the struggle but the challenges at hand presently are those Muslims scholars who think they have knowledge to champion the cause but they lack understanding and they realize not. They have forgotten that a fool can know but the point is to understand. Many of our Muslim leaders today have knowledge but how are they applying it to create Islamic society? Are they using their knowledge to relate with people in their environment, how and in what manner? Do they even understand the nature of their people? this is one of the problems of our leaders who think they are vying for the return of Islam.
Not only that, there are still some Muslims scholars that have knowledge but without Hikmah (wisdom) and knowledge without wisdom is like water in the sand. Since Muslims need to be protected under a government that has no respect for Islam, we must know how to manage the situation and relate with the people in the society. Doing this is not about knowledge only but with wisdom and some of the so called Muslim scholars are lacking this and many have been misled due to their ignorance.
Without wide knowledge, better understanding and wisdom with endurance Muslims will never attain their goal to create Islamic society where Muslims and non-Muslims will live a peaceful life under Islamic leadership as it was in the past.
