    As salaam alaikum warahmatullah
    Ans 1 - We face QIBLA when we pray and AQSA IN JERUSALEM was our first QIBLA before KAABA IN MAKKAH.
    Ans 2 - 3 steps initially (But scholars are saying it supposed to be flat ground without any elevation). This means it should be with 0 step

    We face kiblah when praying, and the first kiblah is baitul maqdis.

    The minbaar of the prophet is reported to have 3 steps.
